Financial Aide/Scholarship for Unity III – 2027

We are excited to offer an official application process for financial aide and scholarships this year!
Unity is rooted in African dance, culture, and community. We believe this space should be accessible—especially for those from underrepresented and historically excluded communities.
If cost is a barrier, we invite you to apply. This following form is short, and you’re welcome to share only what feels comfortable.

The process
This year we are aiming to offer 3 tiers of support and volunteer/work exchange positions.
1) Full Support/Deep Financial Barrier – Low cost ticket @ $50 to help cover administrative tasks and Friday dinner.
2) Partial support/Moderate Need – Discounted pass (40% discount from earlybird)
3) Light Support/Low Barrier – Payment plans and/or small discount (15-25% from Earlybird)
Volunteer/Work Exchange Option – Full pass coverage in exchange for 6 hrs of volunteer work at desk, set/up/take down or preparation option – message us directly with skills and ideas.
We will begin reviewing applications immediately, with support offers/communications every 2 months on the 15th of the month.
Last year, we received many applications and made decisions with care, prioritizing those facing the greatest barriers while trying to support as many people as possible. We will do the same this year with more structure and with a review team! Thank you for your trust and care and we hope to see you at Unity III!
